Camera Question Solver

Point your camera at any question and watch the answer appear on your screen in real time. No need to take a photo first -- the live camera feed processes questions as you aim.

Real-Time Question Solving Through Your Camera

Traditional question-solving apps require you to take a photo, wait for processing, and then read the answer. Our camera question solver skips the photo step entirely. As you move your camera over a page of questions, the AI reads the text in real time through the live camera feed and begins solving before you even tap a button.

This live-scanning approach is dramatically faster when you are working through a multi-question worksheet. Instead of photographing each problem individually, just slowly move your camera over the page and answers appear as each question enters the frame.

How the Live Camera Solver Works

Continuous OCR Processing

The camera feed is processed at 15 frames per second through our optimized OCR engine. As text enters the camera frame, it is immediately read and buffered. When the AI detects a complete question in the frame, it begins processing the solution.

Augmented Reality Answer Overlay

Answers appear as an overlay on the camera view, positioned next to the relevant question. This augmented reality approach means you can see both the question and the answer simultaneously, making it easy to write down solutions while looking at your homework.

Smart Question Detection

The AI distinguishes between questions, instructions, headers, and other non-question text on the page. It only attempts to solve actual questions, ignoring worksheet titles, student name fields, and teacher instructions. This prevents false processing and saves battery life.

Camera Solver vs. Photo Solver

Both methods use the same AI engine and produce identical answers. The difference is workflow. The photo solver is better when you want to carefully frame a single complex question or when you are scanning in low light where the camera needs a moment to focus. The camera solver is better for speed -- when you have a stack of worksheets and want answers flowing continuously.

Many students start with the camera solver for quick homework completion and switch to the photo solver when they hit a problem that needs careful framing, like one with a diagram or data table that must be fully captured.

Device Requirements

The camera solver requires a device with a rear-facing camera and at least 4GB of RAM for smooth real-time processing. It works on iPhones from the iPhone 11 onwards and most Android phones released after 2022. Older devices may experience lag in the live feed, in which case the photo solver mode is recommended.

Live Scanning in an Exam Room?

A phone camera pointed at exam papers is the most obvious form of cheating imaginable. You will be caught instantly. There is no way to discreetly point a phone camera at your test in a proctored room.
